Merelyn Masters Art Exhibition ,
Masterful Realism
at May Raechelle Art Gallery, Millthorpe

Picture
We are thrilled to be exhibiting the works of Merelyn Masters, coloured pencil artist from Orange NSW. Merelyn’s works are often mistaken for photography rather than drawings, that’s how realistic they are!

Merelyn says, “I specialise in creating detailed, realistic animal artworks using coloured pencils. I use professional quality pencils and art paper to draw all my designs on, with me it’s a case of only the best will do.”

Although Merelyn does like to take the odd photo snap too. “I carry a camera with me at all times and where possible I take my own my reference images.”
Merelyn is a highly talented artist and has been rewarded for such at a number of art competitions.
“I’m an award-winning artist who has exhibited in the Cowra and Bathurst regional galleries as well as rural art competitions and shows including Wellington, Gulgong, Dunedoo, Forbes, Young, Grenfell, Springwood, Canowindra, Portland and Tamworth.”

She spreads her artistic knowledge and experience around the Central West. “I am a member of the Orange, Forbes, Gulgong Art Societies, Evans Art Council Bathurst and Wellington Arts Inc.”
Now she is also gaining a reputation for herself internationally.
“In 2019 I was thrilled to have my drawing of “Boo” chosen to be included in the American publication CP Hidden Treasures 5. This gorgeous book includes top artists from all over the world.”
“My new designs for 2021 will be on display at May Raechelle Gallery from 4th March - 2nd May, which will include new designs on mugs, bags, quality card, limited editions prints and framed prints. All prints are professionally printed on premium quality paper from my original artwork.”
So come and see “Boo” and more of Merelyn’s artworks at May Raechelle Art Gallery in Millthorpe, they truly need to be seen to be appreciated.
