Wellington Boot Races Art Competition
Wellington Boot Art Competition is now underway. Wellington Race Club in conjunction with Wellington Arts proud to announce a comp that was run over many years but fell by the way side some time ago, but now it's back with the help from Karen McCarrol and Lisa Thomas. This years winner of the competition will have their winning art work on the face of all advertising materials for the 2020 Boot Carnival. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges at the 2019 Calcutta night at the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club on the 6th of April. The winners art work will then go up for auction at the Calcutta. All art work will be up for sale and will also be on display at the members luncheon on the Sunday at the Boot.
