What's Happening...

​Sunday Afternoon Paint and Sip Party at Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club (+18 only)

​Join us at the Wello Soldiers Club on Sunday, 22 March 2026 at 2pm, for a fun and relaxed, beginner-friendly "paint and sip" session.
This is NOT a serious art class! it’s all about having fun and maybe trying something new. But be warned: you do run the risk of taking home a seriously good-looking painting!

Every ticket includes
  • a complimentary beverage on arrival (beer, wine, tea, coffee or soft drink)
  • an individual mixed entree plate to graze on while you unleash your inner creative juices.
All your art equipment needed for the afternoon is supplied, including;
  • paints
  • brushes
  • your own easel
  • a protective apron
  • your own 40 x 50cm art canvas that you get to take home with you at the end of the session
Zero artistic ‘skill’ or experience is required. Your Paint Coach - Chris from ‘Ceevio Art’ - will guide you, step by step, showing you how to create a great looking painting from start to finish in just a couple of hours, even if you’ve never painted before!

Event concludes at 4.30pm.

Wellington Arts Centre Inc. half yearly memberships (from 01/01/26 to 30/06/26) are available now for just $10, or $20 for professional membership.

Wellington's new community mural! 

Jack Randell, from Art Club Dub, in collaboration with Wellington Arts Centre and the local Wellington community, designed and created this stunning new visual art addition to Wellington in December 2025.

​Located on the corner of Percy St and Maughan St, its prime location allows for maximum public interaction.

We are thrilled to announce that we have a NEW GALLERY VENUE!

Our new creative home will be in the beautiful and historic Bill’s Café building in Union Bank Lane – right in the heart of the main street. 
We’re incredibly grateful to the wonderful, community-minded owners who have supported our vision and are working closely with us as we prepare the space for its exciting new chapter! Currently in the throes of renovation, we will be announcing details of the grand opening soon.

We can’t wait to breathe new life into this space as we continue to showcase local and regional talent.
