Due to Covid restrictions the Art & Sculpture FESTIVAL format has had to change.. Change of venue and Now will be an exhibition! The ART & SCULPTURE EXHIBITION is going AHEAD and will be held at the WELLINGTON CIVIC CENTRE ART, SCULPTURES and FIRE BUCKETS will be on exhibition at the Wellington CIVIC CENTRE September 5 and 6 !!!!! And so the PEOPLES CHOICE VOTING is still going ahead!!! We will also be putting photos of the Art, Sculptures and Fire Buckets on to Facebook for your voting!! These will be in photo albums on our page as per category of prizes from Saturday 5 September 2020 10am. Facebook Voting will be open until 1pm Sunday 6 September 2020. By liking the photo of your favourite piece, the works with the most votes in each category will be the People Choice Winners. Pieces that are for sale will have the prices in the comments. To purchase an art work you will need to comment on the post and message our page to confirm payment details, you will have 24 hours to pay for the piece. An Art piece will not be SOLD until payment has been received. Please DO put a NIL (next in line) if you are interested in a particular piece but someone has put a sold on it before you! The annual Arts and Sculpture Festival NOW at WELLINGTON CIVIC CENTRE is packed with ART & SCULPTURE for the entire weekend.
This event is still going ahead. We will be moving forward with this fun and exciting event!
We are looking for sculptures, paintings, drawings, 3D art to go into our exhibition and competitions There will be a range of workshops over the weekend.
Enjoy the unique sculptures & roam through the rooms of brilliant paintings, sketches and delicate artworks displayed in the spacious function rooms. Be sure to get there early to purchase creative works from across the regions of NSW, as arts only go on sale on Saturday morning. Lively and engaging sculpture works will keep you amused as you appreciate the craftsmanship and ingenuity taken to create spectacular or crazy items made from metals, wood, fibre, plastics, recycled materials with no limit on the extraordinary ideas.

Farmers Challenge - NOW AT THE WELLINGTON CIVIC CENTRE ...Be amazed by the mastery of the skill involved with the Farmers Challenge sculptures as they reflect the ideas of our local talented welder wielding farmers as they compete for the 2020 title. This event is locally sponsored by Fiona Adams Water Carting to encourage the hidden talents of our community who often dismiss their own creative prowess. The challenge is on for 2020 to find who really has been tinkering in the shed and is ready to WOW us with some exciting sculptures.
Fire Bucket Challenge
We all know someone who likes to make a fire bucket. We all like to sit around a fire bucket. Get busy now and create the ultimate ‘Fire Bucket’ for the Fire Bucket Challenge of 2020.
Entries can be made of whatever you like, in any style you like….the only stipulation is YOU have to lift it on and off your vehicle.
You must provide a protective tray for underneath so we protect the FLOOR as much as possible.
We encourage old and new buckets to be on display. There will be opportunity to sell fire buckets if you wish to part with them.

Entries for this exhibition have the option to address the ‘Sound & Movement & Fire’ theme.

- Please use one entry form for each piece entered.
- Entry form and entry fee must be received by the committee no later than 5pm Wednesday 26 August 2020.
- Artworks must be ready to exhibit supported by plinths or display materials provided by me. (WACI has a small supply)
- All works should have Artist’s details attached to the back or base of the work.
- Installation of the work is the responsibility of the artist.
- Insurance of all works is the responsibility of the artist.
- There will be a commission of 20% for all works sold during the exhibition paid to WACI.
- Prize money will be paid within two weeks following the end of the exhibition.
- Payment of sold works will be made to artists within two weeks following the end of the exhibition.
- Wellington Arts reserves the right to cull any works.
- The committee’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- FIRE BUCKET CHALLENGE:
- Fire buckets must be easily moveable.

- Delivery of works between 10am and 2pm on Friday 4th September to Hermitage Hill Resort,135 Maxwell Street, Wellington NSW.

- Entry into the OPEN Category is $15.00 per piece. Entry into the Farmers Challenge is $15.00 per piece.

The Arts & Sculpture Event is run over two days.
The Saturday is for visitors to come in check out the exhibits, to start the people's choices voting. Saturday night we have introduced a new component, whereby we will be having a Fire Bucket Challenge.
Entrants will create their own fire buckets, that will be exhibited on Saturday and lit that night, with live music, marshmallows, and dining all around the fire buckets.
Sunday is Father’s Day and our big day, we welcome more visitors to view and vote on the Sculptures and art works. Workshops for attendees to participate in, more live music and lunch while they wander through the market space.
The markets give attendees the chance to experience the vibrancy of a diverse artisan scene and take home many different items.
The Art and Sculpture Festival showcases some of our regions most talented artists, creators and makers.
