The learning process is half the fun and the technique employed for the story is the other half.
Caves Wood Gallery & Gifts / Artisan
Although Caves Wood Gallery has about 6 Award Winning Turners work in it, the main Man is Ken Vodden who is a retired cabinet maker with extensive knowledge of timber.
Segmented wood turning has become Ken’s passion, the colour grain and feel of timber challenges Ken to create a multitude of shapes and patterns through wood turning and sculpting.
I have exhibited my artwork in galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants since 2013 and have enjoyed arranging, planning, curating and hanging various exhibitions. I also like to enter artworks into Competitions as it gives me confidence to step outside the box.
My favourite genre is Painting but I enjoy printmaking and drawing as well. I thrive on challenges and like to do things a little differently with my works.
