Natalie Reid

I am an artist and sculptor living in the hills near Stuart Town, where our family shepherds’ merino sheep. I work in family shared spaces, Sheds, an old red rattler train carriage and our dining room table.
 I am inspired by life, visual experiences, the written word and musical lyrics.
I have studied woodwork, stained glass, welding and various visual mediums and I really love to re-cycle. I try to incorporate personality and storytelling in my pieces and enjoy researching the history of found objects to use in my sculptures. The learning process is half the fun and the technique employed for the story is the other half.
