Eris Fleming
Eris was born in Inverell in 1943, the 5th of 9 boys.
Eris studied Medicine at Sydney University from1960 to 1966 and practiced medicine till 1972.
Then began a career as a full time artist.

Over the years he has had exhibitions in the major cities of Australia.
Has sold works to many parts of the world including Japan, England America ,France, and Switzerland.
The paintings mainly concern the outback and country Australia and the fringe dwellers of these areas.

Eris has completed numerous camping trips to most parts --- and once at home he works from sketch books filled on these trips.
"I work mostly in oils on canvas or panels prepared by me personally."

Since 1975 Eris has lived on farm at Bakers Swamp with wife Judith Ann, all three of their sons live in Sydney.
