Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum located on the foreshores of Lake Burrendong (26kms from Wellington) is approx. 160 Ha containing over 80,000 native plant and trees including over 80 endangered and threatened species including Fern Gully which is 5.5 Ha of native ferns and rainforest trees covered by a man made canopy.
